Editorial policy

Useful recommendations need clear standards.

Everyday Lookbook is built to help readers make practical decisions about everyday spaces, setups, and products. Our first focus is home workspaces: desks, chairs, lighting, organization, and accessories.

How we choose topics

We prioritize topics where readers are likely to need help comparing tradeoffs: small spaces, budget limits, ergonomics, clutter, lighting, and setup order. A good article should help someone decide what matters first and what can wait.

How we treat products

Product-focused content should explain the role of a product category before recommending a specific item. When exact product recommendations are added, they should be checked for availability, relevant specifications, price range, and program rules.

Affiliate relationships

Everyday Lookbook may earn commissions from affiliate links. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed clearly. Compensation should not change the basic editorial standard: recommendations need to be useful, relevant, and honestly represented.

Images and representation

Styled images may be used to communicate an idea or look. Exact products should not be represented by fake product images. When an article discusses a specific product, approved product images or clearly labeled original photography should be used.

Corrections

If something is inaccurate, outdated, or unclear, send a note to hello@everydaylookbook.com. We review correction requests and update pages when needed.
